Working with Schools
Young people in Neath Port Talbot will be receiving a lesson in energy efficiency thanks to Warm Wales and npower. Every comprehensive school will have an energy efficiency information pack including two lesson plans and computer software. The lessons tie in with the National Curriculum and allow pupils to assess the energy rating of their own home. The topic of energy efficiency can be difficult to cover at school. These lessons give pupils the opportunity to see how saving energy at home can make a difference to their family energy consumption and impact upon the environment.
