Wrexham council also wants to help residents improve their health, wellbeing and home safety. The Bringing warm homes and improved health to Wrexham project raises awareness of and refers householders to council departments and organisations that already offer services within the county. The council's own Health Promotion and Social Services teams, the Community Safety Police, the Fire Safety team and Care & Repair Wrexham delver services in partnership with Warm Wales.

'Bringing warm homes and improved health to Wrexham' has taken the best ideas and practices from the most successful of the 5 Warm Zone pilots set up by the Government in England between 1999 to 2004. The scheme has developed these ideas to achieve higher levels of success.
