Older people can have free safety equipment fitted


Warm Wales has joined forces with other organisations working in Wrexham to raise awareness of the many services that local residents can receive. The Warm Wales assessment team offer the services to every householder.

  • The Health Promotion team at Wrexham council offers a range of child safety equipment for low income families and injury prevention equipment for older people.
  • The Social Services teams at Wrexham council offer advice, support services and practical measures to help people with all manner of family problems and daily living activities.
  • The Warm Wales Handyperson service in partnership with Care & Repair Wrexham offers to carry out small household repairs and fit safety and home security equipment for older people who own their own home
  • The Fire Prevention Service offers fire safety advice and equipment.
  • The Crime Prevention Service offers advice and home safety assessments


Families managing on a low income can have free child safety equipment.
